What a YEAR for RISE Softball! Now beginning our 4th year of existence, RISE Softball set out on a journey with one mission in mind: To give every girl who had the dreams and desire to play college softball the opportunity to be seen by college coaches. On June 20th, 2017 RISE Softball hosted their first showcase called the “Midwest Open Showcase” at Margo Yonker Stadium (Central Michigan University). Since that day, RISE Softball-Midwest was set to change the game by helping players achieve their dreams of playing at the college level.
Here are just a few highlights from the first three years:
- Over 700 Players have attended a RISE Showcase
- 196 players have committed in three years (just scratching the surface)
- Hosted 41 RISE Showcase’s around the Midwest Region since inception (MI, IL, ID OH, WI, & Ont)
- The Indiana Summer ID Showcase on June 29th will be the first RISE Showcase in Indiana.
- Launched a new www.risesotball.com website w/ College Coaches Login, Find a Player Tab, & newly added player Intro/Highlights section.
- Hosted 6 RISE-Scout Days individually showcasing travel organizations (Many more to come).
Most importantly, the staff at RISE Softball would like to THANK YOU! Thank you to all the Travel Coaches, High School Coaches, College Coaches, but most of all the Players & Parents for supporting and putting your TRUST in RISE. It has been a great year! We are excited for the future of RISE, and helping players achieve their dreams! #RISEfamily
