Molly Schlosser (2021) Oconomowoc High School, WI-CF/OF
2021 Molly Schlosser recently attended the RISE-Wisconsin Preseason Preview Showcase at Stiks Academy on March 9th in Waukesha, WI. Molly is a “5 tool” player who possesses a lengthy, lean, ultra-athletic frame with quick twitched actions. As a left handed hitter, Molly showed a quick first step out of the box (2.75 home to first time), with well above average speed on the base paths (11.34 home to home time). With the bat, Molly has an advanced feel for hitting with complete body control through the entire swing. Her short hand-path and subtle stride allows her to be on-time, and keeping her bat head long through the hitting zone. Molly showcased a gap-to-gap approach with plus power to all fields (exit velocity was recorded at 74mph). A light-footed outfielder, Molly has an above average feel for the position, as she effortlessly glides to field every ball before utilizing her repeatable crow hop. Molly’s ¾ arm action shows good carry and backspin with accuracy through her target. For a young player (2021), Molly has well above average game instincts and tools. A can’t miss “5 tool’ prospect, Molly projects to develop all facets of her game with natural growth, strength, and maturity. This year as a sophmore, Molly earned Div I 1st Team All-State Honors in Wisconsin.
A stellar student off the field, Molly holds a 4.2 GPA at Oconomowoc High School in Oconomowoc, WI. Molly is still undecided on her college major.
